The Management Center for Emergencies (Spillcenter.ca) is operated and managed by the Groupe Henault.

In 2007, the Groupe Henault noticed certain weaknesses in the transportation of dangerous goods domain. As such, we notice that the environment is becoming a subject which concerns everyone. Numerous environmental consultant firms have seen the day recently. Many contractors have decided to offer a service in the environmental field though the emergency intervention teams demonstrate shortcomings, often by lack of knowledge or training.  

Furthermore, even the best intentioned enterprises, (and industries) cannot manage the environmental risks adequately since the laws, rules, procedures and environmental reports evolve rapidly. Doing so, would imply significant costs, either financially, lack of resources, lack of knowledge base, etc.

It’s after arriving at such a realisation that the Groupe Henault begins consulting with its clientele and furthering their research in emergency intervention matters to circumvent the weaknesses in each domain. This was carried out in order for the Groupe Henault to offer the most efficient and professional service possible with a cost reduction and avoid or lessen the damages causes to human beings, fauna, flora, and properties. All of this conducted with the outermost respect for the environment.

After these last few years, it’s the 28th of May 2010 during their second conference on environmental technologies that the Groupe Henault announced officially their launch of the Management Center for Emergencies (Spillcenter.ca) all the while maintaining their philosophy:
